Free Software Making 3D images can be a rewarding hobby. But it can also be expensive and frustrating. A lot of the software programs involved have steep learning curves. Luckily for us amateurs there are free alternatives to the expensive programs the pros use. There also are plenty of free tutorials from people willing to share their experience online. Here is a small listing of free programs you can download to begin making your own creations! Daz Studio is a free 3D figure posing and animation program similar to Poser and capable of using much of the same content. The Generic Image Manipulation Program is a free 2D painting program that can import many of the most popular file formats. It offers a wide range of digital editing tools and filters. A full-featured 3D modeling, texturing and animation program. A free program that allows simple texturing of 3D objects. |
